Samuel Nelson Abbot, often styled as S. N. Abbott, was a longtime illustrator for Hart Schaffner & Marx, often letting his work go unsigned. He also received commissions from the Saturday Evening Post, Woman's Home Companion and Ladies' Home Journal.
